1. 건강 데이터

- Android 안내: Health Connect는 운동 기록 하나를 읽을 때 칼로리·걸음 수를
함께 넘겨주는 구조라, 권한 화면에 이 둘이 함께 표시되고 슈메이트도 함께 요청합니다.
신발별 거리 계산에는 사용하지 않습니다.
- 읽은 기록은 기기 안에서만 처리되어 신발별 누적 거리를 계산합니다.
- 개발자의 서버로 전송되지 않습니다. 슈메이트에는 서버가 없습니다.
- 건강 데이터를 광고·마케팅에 사용하지 않으며, 제3자에게 제공하거나 판매하지 않습니다.
- 건강 앱에 데이터를 쓰지 않습니다. 읽기 전용입니다.

2. 사진
신발 사진은 사용자가 직접 선택할 때만 사용합니다.
- iPhone: Apple Vision으로 배경을 분리합니다.
- Android: 앱에 포함된 분리 모델로 배경을 분리합니다.
배경 분리는 양쪽 모두 기기 안에서 처리됩니다. 사진이 분석을 위해
외부로 전송되는 일은 없습니다. 사진은 기기와 사용자 본인의 클라우드 백업에만 저장되며,
개발자의 서버로 전송되지 않습니다.
3. 백업
신발·기록·사진은 사용자 본인의 클라우드에 저장되어 기기를 바꾸거나 앱을 다시 설치해도
복원됩니다. 이 저장 공간은 사용자의 계정에 속하며 개발자는 접근할 수 없습니다.
- iPhone: iCloud 개인 데이터베이스. iOS 설정에서 iCloud를 끄면 백업되지 않습니다.
- Android: 구글 계정 자동 백업. Android 설정 → Google → 백업에서 끌 수 있습니다.
4. 익명 사용 통계
앱을 개선하기 위해 Google Firebase(Analytics, Crashlytics)로 익명 통계를 수집합니다.
- 수집 단위는 익명 설치 식별자이며, 누구인지 알 수 없습니다.
- 수집 예: 화면 이동, 기능 사용 횟수, 보유 신발 수의 구간(예: 3켤레, 5~6켤레),
등록한 신발의 브랜드·모델명(앱 안의 목록에서 고른 것만 — 직접 입력한 이름은 보내지 않습니다), 오류 정보.
- 보내지 않는 것: 사진, 러닝 기록 내용, 은퇴 카드에 쓴 문구, 이름·이메일·전화번호·위치.
- 광고 식별자(iPhone의 IDFA, Android의 광고 ID)를 수집하지 않으며,
앱 바깥에서 사용자를 추적하지 않습니다.
5. 계정
슈메이트는 계정을 만들지 않습니다. 회원가입도, 로그인도 없습니다.
6. 데이터 삭제
- 앱을 삭제하면 기기에 저장된 데이터가 삭제됩니다.
- iPhone: iCloud에 백업된 데이터는 iOS 설정 → Apple 계정 → iCloud에서
삭제할 수 있습니다.
- Android: 구글 계정에 백업된 데이터는 Android 설정 → Google → 백업에서
삭제할 수 있습니다.
- 익명 통계는 개인과 연결되어 있지 않아 개별 삭제가 불가능하며, 최대 14개월 후 자동 삭제됩니다.

Summary. Shoemate has no accounts and no servers.
Your health data and photos stay on your device and in your own cloud backup (iCloud on
iPhone, your Google account on Android). The developer cannot see them. Health data is
never used for advertising, shared, or sold.
1. Health data
Shoemate reads running workouts only, from Apple Health on iPhone and
from Health Connect on Android. It does not read heart rate, route, or location.
- The values actually used are workout type, distance, and duration.
- Android note: Health Connect returns calories and step count together
with a workout, so those permissions appear on the permission screen and Shoemate
requests them as well. They are not used to calculate shoe mileage.
- Workouts are processed on your device to calculate mileage per shoe.
- Nothing is sent to a developer server. Shoemate has no server.
- Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, and is never
shared with or sold to third parties.
- Shoemate does not write health data. Read-only.
- You can revoke access at any time in the Health app or in Health Connect.
2. Photos
Shoe photos are used only when you choose them.
- iPhone: the background is removed using Apple Vision.
- Android: the background is removed using a model bundled in the app.
Background removal runs on-device on both platforms. Your photo is never
uploaded for analysis. Photos stay on your device and in your own cloud backup, and are never
sent to a developer server.
3. Backup
Shoes, records, and photos are stored in your own cloud so they survive a new phone or a
reinstall. That storage belongs to your account and
the developer cannot access it.
- iPhone: iCloud private database. Turning off iCloud in iOS Settings
disables backup.
- Android: Google account auto backup. You can turn it off in Android
Settings, Google, Backup.
4. Anonymous usage analytics
To improve the app, Shoemate collects anonymous analytics through
Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics).
- The unit of collection is an anonymous install identifier. We cannot
identify who you are.
- Examples: screen navigation, feature usage counts, the bucket of how many
shoes you own (e.g. 3, 5-6), the brand and model of registered shoes (only when picked
from the in-app list — names you type yourself are never sent), and crash information.
- Never sent: photos, workout contents, retirement card messages, your name,
email, phone number, or location.
- Shoemate does not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA on iPhone,
Advertising ID on Android) and does not track you across other apps or websites.
5. Accounts
Shoemate has no accounts. There is no sign-up and no login.
6. Deleting your data
- Deleting the app removes the data stored on your device.
- iPhone: iCloud data can be removed in iOS Settings → Apple Account
→ iCloud.
- Android: Google account backup data can be removed in Android Settings
→ Google → Backup.
- Anonymous analytics are not linked to you, so individual deletion is not possible.
They are automatically deleted after at most 14 months.
- For any other deletion request, email

7. Children
Shoemate is not directed at anyone under 18 and does not knowingly collect
personal information from children under 13.
